About Us

The Mixed Chorus, founded in 1944 by Gordon Clark, a medical student, is one of the University of Alberta’s oldest non-athletic student clubs. Each season, its members come together to share their love of music. The Mixed Chorus functions under the musical direction of Andrew Bortz and the executive direction of Joy Beisiegel. It continues to create beautiful music in the spirit of the students who founded it over 80 years ago.

For more information, see here to read the full history of the UAMC.
