73rd Annual Spring Concert

Join the UAMC and the Faculty of Education Handbell Ringers for its 73rd Annual Spring Concert! Join us as we celebrate Canada’s 150th with Canadian music and folk songs! Highlights include Wade Hemsworth’s “The Log Driver’s Waltz,” arranged by Ron Smail, and made famous by CBC’s classic vingette of the same name; a selction of Canadian folk songs, such as “Savory, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme,” and “Danse, Mon Moin, Danse!” and “Get to Bed.”

When: March 11th, 2017, 8pm
Where: Francis Winspear Centre for Music, 4 Winston Churchill Square Northwest, Edmonton, AB T5J 4X8

Tickets go on sale February 98th, General Admission: $20 for Adults, $18 for Students/Seniors. Tickets can be purchased directly from choristers, or pre-purchased via online invoice (credit card only, 3% charge is added for credit card transactions), and at InfoLink on Campus. Tickets will also be available at the door.

Strathearn United Church Service

Every year, the Mixed Chorus performs at a service for Strathearn United Church. Join us for a wonderful service full of song! A great preview for Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols.
Everyone is welcome to attend, no admission required.

Festival of Nine Lessons & Carols

Join the University of Alberta Mixed Chorus under Director Robert De Frece with Handbell Ringers and organists Marnie Giesbrecht and Joachim Segger for their annual Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols. A memorable night of Christmas carols, sacred music, and biblical lessons.

When: November 28th, 2016
Where: Francis Winspear Centre for Music, 4 Winston Churchill Square Northwest, Edmonton, AB T5J 4X8

Tickets are General Admission, available through the Winspear Box Office, $16 all tickets. Child policy is waived, children under 3 are allowed. Babies, one or under, get a comp Babes in Arms ticket during the concert duty. Children older than one year require a paid ticket.
